LIVER ARAB DISH (KIBDA)

A delicious and popular Arab dish made with liver


INGREDIENTS


Liver  1 kg   (cut into julienne)

Oil    100 gms

Onions  4  (cut into cubes)

Tomatoes  ΒΌ  kg   (cut into cubes)

Tomato paste  2 tbsp

Cumin powder    1 tsp

Curry powder or coriander powder  1 tsp

Salt to taste

Coriander leaves  (chopped)

Green chilies  (chopped)


METHOD


Heat oil in a wok (kadhai).

Add onions and fry until they get soft.

Add liver and salt.  Fry until the water gets evaporated.

Add tomatoes and cook.

Add cumin powder, curry powder or coriander powder.

Add tomato paste and cook until the gravy gets thick.


Garnish with green chilies and chopped coriander leaves.

Serve with  chapatti or kulcha (flat Indian bread).
