SOY CHUNK MANCHURIAN Recipe by

A healthy vegetarian dish made with soya chunks
INGREDIENTS
Soy chunks ¼ kg (soaked in water for ½ an hour)
Chicken kabab masala 1 tbsp
Red chilli powder 2 tsp
Black Pepper powder ½ tsp
Food colour ¼ tsp (kavi red colour)
Curd 1 tbsp
Lemon juice 1 tbsp
Salt to taste
Squeeze the water out from soy chunks.
Mix all the above ingredients in a bowl.
Add the soy chunks in
the mixture.
Keep it for ½ an hour for marination.
Oil 200 gms
Curry leaves 10 pieces
Cumin seeds 1 tsp
Onions 2 (cut into julienne)
Red whole chilies 3 piecesCapsicum 2 (cut into julienne)
Cauliflower ¼ kg
Tomato ketchup 2 tbsp
Soy sauce (light) 1 tbsp
Coriander leaves 1 tbsp for garnish
Green
chilies (chopped) for garnish
METHOD
Heat oil in wok (kadhai). Add cumin seeds and red chillies. Heat for 1 minute.
Add onions and heat until they get transparent.
Add curry leaves and marinated soy chunks. Fry stirring for 10 minutes.
Add soy sauce and tomato ketchup. Stir nicely.
Add cauliflower and capsicums. Fry stirring for 15 minutes.
Garnish with chopped coriander leaves, green chilies and ginger.
Serve hot .
